Assistant Director job description
 Pittsburgh, PA
   Start Date — January 2017
About CCChampions: We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps children better survive the cancer journey, developmentally and socially, through the power of long-term inspirational role models. Whatever our kids want to be when they grow up - clothing designers, police officers, bookstore owners, nurses, video game designers, teachers, rodeo cowgirls, astrophysicists, etc. - we find someone inspirational who does just that, and can be there through all the transitions of the disease.

Since 2012, our passionate staff of three has grown from helping 2 kids annually to 100 (75% of newly diagnosed kids in Pittsburgh). We’ve been featured in the Harvard Business Review & Forbes, been highlighted on ROOT Sports, and raised $250,000. We launched a historic partnership with Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC as we drive our research-based, outcomes-driven programming to innovatively help child cancer patients in Pittsburgh & beyond!

Job Description:

The Assistant Director is a rising leader -- the backbone of CCChampions -- assisting in all layers of the organization. Through hands-on mentorship from our Executive Director, this exceptional team member will be positioned to be a key player in our national expansion.
