![]() Best. Night. EVER. We’re so excited to share some of our favorite pictures and stories from the evening. Thank you to everyone who helped us make this special night possible. The kids and families in CCChampions had such a blast, and it was so cool being able to show them how many of us are out there rooting for them. Here are a few highlights: $45,000 The Night of Inspiration raised over $45,000, making this the most successful fundraiser in CCChampions history! We had a sold-out audience of nearly 150 people! Chapter #2 CCChampions is getting ready to launch its 2nd chapter, with Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, next year! Stay tuned! ![]() College! Our first kids went away to college! Shoutout to Chloe (Fordham University), Kevin (Gettysburg College), and Lila (Pittsburgh Technical Institute). ![]() Sean, our MC One more shoutout to our emcee Sean, who wants to be a sports broadcaster when he grows up. He definitely already stole my job, and I think he’s not too far off from stealing Joe Block’s job as the Pirates broadcaster as well! Make sure to follow us on facebook, twitter, and instagram for all the updates about our kids!
Stay tuned for some excited updates on the horizon! When we were planning the 3rd annual Night of Inspiration, an idea dawned on us. What if we asked Sean to emcee the event? Sean, a 16-year-old in CCChampions, wants to be a sports broadcaster when he grows up. He couldn't wait to be the voice of the event! We've got walkup songs for all the kids receiving "Inspiration Awards," and Sean will be introducing everyone baseball-style. Please join all the kids and role models in CCChampions on Thursday 9/28 by getting your tickets at www.CCChampions.com/inspiration! Who's excited?? The Pirates invited the kids in CCChampions to the 2nd Annual Pediatric Cancer Awareness Night game -- and they got the full superhero treatment! Our kids first got to shave some of the players' heads, and then they all headed onto the field to get their superhero capes! The kids & their families stuck around for the game and got to sit in the Pirates Charities World Series Suites! A few highlights:
